Do you ever shop at thrift stores? It takes a bit more work, but you can find some real hidden gems! I found this dark teal velvet blazer back in fall. It was brand new with tags, originally priced at $198. Guess what I paid? $22. Yes, twenty two dollars. Can you believe it?! Needless to say, I was thrilled!
Velvet is super trendy this winter, and has potential to stay for longer. I love its timelessness, luxe look, and warm feel. Here, I let the velvet blazer stand out by pairing it with all black.
I added bold shoes to my all-black ensemble. These black booties have the neatest buckle detail on the side. Love them! Mine are old, but THESE are very similar. I also linked more options at the end of the post.
Gold jewelry completed my look. You all have seen this watch and bracelet before (HERE), and I also added a dainty opal necklace. The muted blue/green works well with the color scheme.
You can shop my outfit by scrolling through the carousel below. But I also encourage you to go check out some of your local thrift stores! You might be surprised at what you can find. 🙂
